Tourism facing modern slavery: Challenges and opportunities for the hotel sector in Mexico
This study (only available in Spanish) identifies needs, challenges, and opportunities for the tourism sector in the face of human trafficking and exploitation. It establishes specific risks facing the hotel sector and presents existing tools and frameworks for action, as well as best practices for hotels.
The investigation is based on the realities reported by hotel MSMEs -hotel owners, managers and staff- about the trafficking and exploitation of people, in their different contexts throughout Mexico.
