The Resource Mobilization team is responsible for sourcing third party funding from investors to complement IDB Invest’s own capital in the transactions we finance. The team consists of 11 professionals with responsibility in both transaction distribution and product development: Carlos de Andres Gayon, Florencia Bocco, Martina Cometti, Monica Fernandez, Ornella Gutierrez, Jozef Henriquez, Felipe Macia, Luara Maraston, Sebastian Padilla, Juan Carlos Reboulen and Jan Weiss.
Development finance organizations, by themselves, lack the necessary capital to attend the needs of developing countries. Blended finance may be used to help institutional investors mobilize their capital securely and effectively in such countries.
