The Corporation has successfully completed the third and final year of the 1995-1997 action plan drawn up under the guidance of the Board of Directors and approved by the Governors. The synergism created within the IDB Group among those units charged with strengthening the region's private sector. These units have drawn on each other's specific expertise to further the specific developmental mandates of each, while helping the IDB Group as a whole to fulfill ifs broader economic and social goals for Latin America and the Caribbean.
