VINTE develops, promotes, design, builds, and sells low-, middle-, and upper-middle income housing, primarily in four states of central Mexico: Hidalgo, México, Querétero, and Quintana Roo.
VINTE’s subsidiaries are: (i) Promotora de Viviendas Integrales S.A. de C.V., which purchases, develops, and sells land; (ii) Urbanizaciones Inmobiliarias del Centro S.A. de C.V., set up to develop and sell housing; (iii) Vinte Administración, Diseño y Consultoría S.A. de C.V., which manages VINTE’s human resources and services contracting; (iv) Edificaciones e Ingenierías del Centro S.A. de C.V., which oversees and carries out the construction of the housing developments and dwellings; and (v) Conectividad para el Hábitat S.A. de C.V., which provides all types of technology services to VINTE and its customers, and also markets technology services to families living in its developments.
With the support of its subsidiaries, VINTE has to date built some 10,000 homes in eight housing developments. VINTE has also won six national housing awards and has signed strategic agreements with a number of leading technology companies to promote technology in low-income housing.
In October 2009, the company received a 2008 National Housing Award for "best project implementation," as well as a special award in the "sustainable housing development" category. In addition, in October 2010 VINTE received the 2009 National Housing Award in the "sustainable housing development" category.

Environmental and social review
IDB Invest conducts an environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) commensurate with the nature, scale, and stage of the project, and with its level of environmental and social risks and impacts. The ESDD will confirm the project E&S categorization and assess the project with respect to the client requirements in IDB Invest Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy. The results of the ESDD, including any identified gaps are described in the Environmental and Social Review Summary (ESRS) provided below. For projects approved as of 2016, any gaps with respect to IDB Invest's Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy at the time of the ESDD are addressed in the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) presented below, to comply with the date mentioned above.
