Project scope and objective
The proposed financing to Dinvertech, S.P.R de R.L. de C.V. (the “Borrower” or the “Company”), a Mexican agricultural producer, consists of financing of up to US$90 million (the “Financing”), structured as follows: (i) a secured senior A/B loan of up to US$80 million, of which US$40 million will be funded by IDB Invest and the remainder by third parties; and (ii) an uncommitted revolving loan of up to US$10 million.
The proceeds of the Financing will be used to cover capital expenditures and working capital needs of the Company, related to an expansion of its installed capacity in Mexico by adding 50 additional hectares of highly technical greenhouses for the cultivation of mini peppers primarily for export, as well as climate-smart agricultural practices (the “Project”).

Environmental and social review
IDB Invest conducts an environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) commensurate with the nature, scale, and stage of the project, and with its level of environmental and social risks and impacts. The ESDD will confirm the project E&S categorization and assess the project with respect to the client requirements in IDB Invest Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy. The results of the ESDD, including any identified gaps are described in the Environmental and Social Review Summary (ESRS) provided below. For projects approved as of 2016, any gaps with respect to IDB Invest's Environmental and Social Sustainability Policy at the time of the ESDD are addressed in the Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) presented below, to comply with the date mentioned above.
