Luis is a partner at Lapique & Santeugini, a midsize law firm from Montevideo, Uruguay. He has wide experience in corporate law and M&A. Before joining Lapique & Santeugini he worked for 9 years in the Tax and Legal Department of Deloitte Uruguay. He is a professor of Corporate Law at Universidad ORT in Montevideo Uruguay and he has published seven books about corporations, shareholders agreements and M&A. Luis earned a master’s degree in Law, from the University of Iowa, (USA) and a professional degree in law from the Universidad Católica (Uruguay).
