Project scope and objective
A transação inclui um pacote de financiamento composto por um empréstimo de longo prazo de US$ 25 milhões e uma linha de crédito de curto prazo de importação de US$ 10 milhões, destinado a apoiar o plano de investimento e crescimento da empresa. O projeto financiará a expansão da capacidade de produção de baterias em Manaus, Estado do Amazonas e Extrema, Estado de Minas Gerais, no Brasil, incluindo uma linha de produção de sistemas de armazenamento de energia (BESS), a aquisição de equipamentos destinados a fabricação de baterias de mobilidade elétrica e telecomunicações, investimentos em automação, uma nova linha de produção de baterias de lítio (LFP) e a construção de uma fábrica de baterias para veículos elétricos e híbridos. O objetivo é aumentar e diversificar a produção de valor agregado, impulsionar o crescimento da cadeia de fornecimento, gerar empregos formais e fornecer soluções de armazenamento de energia que beneficiem a região amazônica.
