Project scope and objective
O Projeto consiste na concepção, manutenção e operação do sistema de água e esgoto nos municípios de Paço do Lumiar e São José de Ribamar, no estado do Maranhão. O objetivo, além da distribuição universal de água, é atingir 80% de coleta e tratamento de esgoto para aproximadamente 328 mil pessoas. O plano financeiro consiste em um empréstimo do BID Invest de até R$ 500 milhões, dos quais R$ 250 milhões serão garantidos pela Agência Francesa de Desenvolvimento (Proparco) com prazo de até 20 anos.
